Federal and state apprenticeship policies have changed tremendously during the past four years, from new investments to the introduction of the National Apprenticeship Act of 2020. As we look beyond the national election in November, practitioners and policymakers have the opportunity to reflect on policies that have shaped apprenticeships in the US.

Please join the Urban Institute, in collaboration with New America and Jobs for the Future, during National Apprenticeship Week for a timely panel discussion of apprenticeship policy. Thought leaders, industry specialists, and state practitioners will review promising practices at the national, state, and local levels and make policy recommendations for 2021 and beyond.
