Entrepreneurs are innovators. They drive economic growth, create jobs, and fuel economies critical to building resilient and self-reliant communities.[1] Entrepreneurs have proven themselves vital to the economy insomuch that February 13 – 20, 2021 is recognized as National Entrepreneurship Week to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of American workers.

The entrepreneurial spirit stems from the “entrepreneurial mindset”: a way of thinking that drives one to overcome challenges, be decisive, and accept responsibility for outcomes.[2] The entrepreneur embodies a constant need to improve skills, learn from mistakes, and confidently act on an idea.
